Chelmsford’s stunning Shire Hall featured in this ground-breaking ITV drama. The building, which stands in pride of place at the heart of Chelmsford’s shopping district, was taken over for 2 weeks and transformed into Winchester Crown Court and Parliamentary Committee Rooms.
Shire Hall in Chelmsford served as the County Court for over 220 years until 2012. Today it stands as a Grade II* listed Georgian building and is a key historical landmark in the city. Nearby attractions include Hylands House and Estate, known for its stunning grounds – perfect for dog walks and picnics!
