Finding your perfect location

We understand that any successful filming project relies on collaborative and joined up working. The Essex Film Office works with local councils and businesses, highways and private venues to streamline processes so that everyone can benefit. By ensuring that Essex is a film-friendly county we want to support and attract film and TV production into the county, whilst at the same time making the most of the opportunities that the filming activity can deliver in terms of boosting the local economy, creating jobs and encouraging screen tourism.

Welcoming productions from overseas, Essex is extremely well connected with two international airports: the award-winning London Southend Airport and the globally connected London Stansted Airport, serving short and long-haul flights and boasts two international seaports in Harwich and Tilbury
