Where can i visit?

Known as the longest pleasure pier in the world, measuring at 1.33 miles, Southend Pier is an attraction that everyone should have on their Essex bucket list, whether you’re a local or visitor! Visitors can choose to either walk the length of the Pier, or take a ride on the 3ft narrow gauge railway, which leaves the shore end every hour and half hour from opening until an hour before closing. If you want to do a spot of fishing, you can do so from the Pier Stem or Pier Head to catch a variety of fish! At the end of the Pier, you’ll find great food outlets to enjoy a sweet treat, hot drink, or a classic seaside meal of fish and chips.
