Tilbury Docks
Tilbury Docks were used for the boat chase scene in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Specifically, the docks stood in for the Venetian waterways during that action sequence. The film’s storyline suggests Venice, but the boat chase with Indy and Dr. Elsa Schneider was actually filmed in Tilbury.
