When Academy Award winning Director Alfonso Cuaron visited CafĂ© Pizzeria in Harlow’s Bush Fair, he decided that it was the perfect location for a pivotal scene in his latest mini series, Disclaimer. The story centres around journalist Catharine Ravenscroft (Cate Blanchett) who is hiding a dark past. Filmed in 2022, the Apple TV+ production saw a piece of Hollywood descend on the town with Cafe Pizzeria receiving a total make over in order to become the meeting place for Ravenscroft and her dead lover’s mother.
