In S1 Ep2, this famous Pie & Mash shop is the setting for a meeting between the two main characters.

The gardens span 9.03ha with amenity grassland perfect for a picnic, playing games or enjoying the stretch of open space. There are some areas of the site set aside as wildlife refuges and woodland so bring your binoculars along to see what you can spot.

A traditional market town with an abundant history, Waltham Abbey has fascinating connections to the Royals, and is home to a beautiful church and abbey grounds. The town has links to King Harold, the founder of the monastery, Henry II, Henry VII and Richard the Lionheart who granted their market charter. Local attractions include the Lee Valley White Water Centre which was used in the London 2012 Olympic Games, Copped Hall, and Epping Forest District Museum.
