Where was it filmed?

The film stars Renée Zellweger as Bridget Jones, a 32-year-old single woman who writes a diary which focuses on the things she wishes to happen in her life. However, her life changes when two men vie for her affection, portrayed by Colin Firth (Mark Darcy) and Hugh Grant (Daniel Cleaver). When Darcy heads off to ‘New York’ he’s seen to arrive in an ultra-modern terminal which is actually Stansted Airport.

Where can i visit?

London Stansted Airport has both long and short haul flights flying to and from destinations from all over the globe. The airport is well connected, just a short distance from the M11 and with regular buses to the city of Chelmsford, as well as its own train station. Train and bus stations are just quick two-minute walk from the airport terminal, with a drop off and pick up area right outside. Within the airport, you will find a wide variety of duty-free shops, restaurants and more to keep you busy whilst you wait for your flights!
